Directed by Gareth Evans the visionary behind The Raid, Evans latest project will be set in present-day London which has been ripped apart by the destructive power struggles of international criminal organisations.

According to Den of Geek Evans has described Gangs of London as “a multicultural world of global crime as it intersects on the streets of London.” The situation in the city becomes a powder keg with the inciting incident of the assassination of the leader of a major criminal organisation, which creates a power vacuum that makes the city rife for warfare amongst the underworld.

The series also stars Michelle Fairley (Game of Thrones), Mark Lewis Jones (Star Wars: The Last Jedi), Jing Lusi (Crazy Rich Asians), Brian Vernel (Dunkirk), Richard Harrington (Poldark) and Emmett J Scanlan (Peaky Blinders) among others.

No release date for Gangs of London has been announced.
