Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz says team’s bowling unit to play vital role in World Cup Ahmed said on Saturday that the team’s strong bowling lineup will play a significant role for Pakistan’s success in the approaching ICC World Cup.

The Pakistan captain in his interview of Geo News’ programme Naya Pakistan expressed his hope that the green shirts will deliver a strong performance in the mega event.

“All the six fast bowlers that we have are outstanding. You talked about Hasnain, he delivered a brilliant performance, apart from him there is Hasan, Junaid, Amir and Faheem Ashraf. The fast bowling unit is good,” he stated.

When asked about the depth in the batting line up the wicketkeeper-batsman said that the team will try its best to put a good score on the scoreboard to help the bowling in defending the total.

“I would first like to thank PM Imran for spending his valuable time with us. He gave us a lot of motivation and said that the entire country’s prayers are with us and urged us to play with complete dedication, keeping our intentions pure and leave everything to Allah,” he said.
