Tailors found to be violating the standard rate law in Rahim Yar Khan will be strictly punished

RAHIM YAR KHAN: A standard rate has been set for tailors prior to Eid-ul-Fitr and strict action will be taken against those found to be in violation.

In the majority of cities across Pakistan, tailors increase their stitching rates in the run-up to Eid-ul-Fitr.

In order to overcome this, the district administration of Rahim Yar Khan has set Rs650 as the rate tailors can charge for stitching a male shalwar kameez.

A notification from the Rahim Yar Khan Deputy Commissioner’s office states that tailors who are violating this will be strictly punished.
