GUJRANWALA: The dead body of a toddler who went missing 11 days ago and was suspected to have been kidnapped was recovered Monday from a rivulet in Adhoraye village, police confirmed.
The minor girl — identified as three-year-old Zameer Fatima, a resident of Garjakh — was reported missing on May 16 from outside her home.
According to police, her family and relatives were only able to confirm her identity through her clothes. The body, they said, was sent to a local hospital for post-mortem.
Police added that they were using evidence to investigate the matter, ascertain how the minor girl was murdered, and search for the suspects.
