With Eid-ul-Fitr merely two days away, foodies are already listing down things to add to the grand Eid breakfast and lunch table. To make things easier for you and to add some innovation and exclusivity to your Eid menu to sway your guests, here’s the recipe for Custard Vermicelli.
1 litre of milk
½ cup of pasta vermicelli
1/3 cup of sugar
½ cup of peeled and sliced almonds
2 tablespoons of vanilla custard powder
½ cup of milk
Boil milk in a pot and add pasta vermicelli leaving it to cook for 6-8 minutes.
After that, add sugar and stir well till its dissolved.
Add almonds and mix again.
In a separate bowl, add custard powder, milk and mix thoroughly.
Now add the custard mix into the milk and vermicelli mixture and cook till it thickens.
Pour the mix into a serving dish and garnish with chopped almonds or Gulab Jaman, depending on your choice.
Serve the dish chilled to your guests on Eid!
