RYK man who forced teen daughter to marry 60-year-old arrested alongside five others

RAHIM YAR KHAN: A teenage girl was safely recovered on Wednesday here from the Sadiqabad Tehsil of RYK after she was forced into marrying a 60-year-old man, police said, adding that they have arrested multiple suspects.

Police said they acted on a tip-off and conducted a raid in Chak-148 wherefrom they safely took into custody the 13-year-old girl and arrested her father and brother, as well as at least three others of her family.

Police said they have filed a first information report (FIR). The arrestees are to be presented in the court soon.
