Gujranwala man identified as Ali Shan allegedly raped his 14-year-old domestic help and his mother beat her for telling her parents

GUJRANWALA: A man allegedly raped a 14-year-old domestic help here in the Nigar Phatak area, police confirmed on Sunday, adding that a first information report (FIR) in this regard has been registered and the suspects arrested.
The man was identified as Ali Shan and his mother, who is the owner of the house where the minor girl was employed, as Nusrat. The FIR was filed on behalf of the 14-year-old's father.
The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Sabzi Mandi police station.
The woman beat the 14-year-old for telling her parents about the sexual assault, police said, adding that the family cut off the girl's hair as well.
