Khushab man commits suicide over domestic spat by jumping in canal with two daughters

KHUSHAB: A landlord took his two minor daughters and committed suicide by jumping with them into a canal here in the city's Chak 13 MB area on Sunday allegedly after a domestic spat, police confirmed.

Bodies of the landlord and one of his two daughters were recovered from the Jalalpur canal, rescue authorities said, adding that the search for the other daughter's body was underway.

According to rescue authorities, the daughters were six and 10 years old, respectively.

The rescue efforts were continuing as of reporting time.
