'No petrol shortage in ctiy'
MULTAN: President All Pakistan Cartage and Petroleum Traders Association, Mustafa Salimee, said on Friday there was no shortage of petrol in the city.

Talking to APP, he said that some petrol pumps operational in the suburbs of the city might be facing problem but the situation would normalise by June 13.

He said the supply to all PSO petrol pumps and majority of Shell and Caltex petrol pumps was regular and there was no shortage at petrol pumps in the city. However, petrol pumps being run by some small companies were facing shortage, Mustafa Salimee added.

He said that a ship carrying petrol had reached Karachi port while PARCO oil refinery in Mehmoodkot, Muzaffargarh, also increased its production.

Meanwhile, observers say they did not witness extraordinary rush of bikes and vehicles at any petrol pump in the city and business was running smoothly.
