THARPARKAR: Three men who kidnapped and gang-raped a 14-year-old girl and filmed the entire ordeal in Dalan-Jo-Tar, Chelhar, were sent to police on a two-day physical remand after they were presented Sunday to a judicial magistrate court in Mithi.

Police had arrested two of the absconding accused — identified as Sawai Meghwar and Adam Dil — a day earlier during a midnight raid in Dali village whereas the third one, Qubool Rahmo, had been arrested the same day.

Further investigation in the case was still ongoing, police said.

It was reported a day prior that Meghwar, the primary suspect, had "picked up" the girl from outside her home in the village and took her to his empty house where he and his accomplices gang-raped her.

According to the area's station house officer (SHO), Majid Qaimkhani, a medical test of the girl was conducted and indications of the gang-rape were seen in the initial report.
