Security guard sacrifices his life in Islamabad attack

ISLAMABAD: A brave security guard sacrificed his life in Islamabad on Monday, and averted a major tragedy from taking place, Geo News reported.

The guard intercepted the suicide bomber as he was trying to enter the premises of a private bank in Sector I-8 of the federal capital.

Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that he would recommend the Sitara-e-Shujat for the brave guard.
