ISLAMABAD: The residents of federal capital are anxiously waiting for the first pre-monsoon rains which, according to the Met Office, is likely to occur on Friday/Saturday.
The monsoon currents of moderate intensity have started to penetrate in the upper parts of the country and likely to continue during next 2-3 days.
An official of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) told on Thursday that the pre-monsoon rain is also expected in Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore and Faisalabad divisions as well as Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas during next 24-48 hours. (APP)
