Heat to persist in Sindh, Balochistan
ISLAMABAD: Most of the areas in Sindh and Balochistan will remain in the grip of hot and dry weather however the upper parts of the country can receive rain along with thunder and lightening in the next 24 hours, Geo News reported.

Locals in Sargodha are facing double trouble as no drinking water is available due to severe loadshedding. People have reached out to the water pumps near Jehlum River to get drinking water.

Urban areas in Faisalabad are facing 14-hour loadshedding while rural areas are bearing 18-hour-long power outages. Industrial sector is also facing unannounced loadshedding due to which production process has been adversely affected.

Loadshedding is still worst in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa along with FATA despite severe heat.

Gusty winds are forecasted in upper Punjab along with Kashmir, Hazara and Bahawalpur divisions in the next 24 hours while some areas can also receive light rain. The remaining part of the country will remain dry and hot, met department said.
