LAHORE: The district administration continued anti encroachments drive on the 98th consecutive day here on Wednesday and removed various illegal structures at more than 32 kilometres area in all the nine towns.
The administration of the towns following directions of the DCO participated in the operation and removed illegally constructed shops, several pedestals and many other illegal structures.
According to the city government sources, anti-encroachment teams also lodged FIRs against encroachers in various areas besides seizing eight truckloads of different materials.
The towns have also been directed by the DCO to monitor areas continuously where encroachments had been removed to avoid reconstruction of such illegal structures.
