Karachi traffic policeman jumps on moving car over violation of law
Police confirmed that the incident took place near Nipa Chowrangi when a constable Naveed Ali signaled a car to pull off over an alleged violation

A police constable has gone viral for putting his life in danger to ensure implementation of traffic laws in Karachi.
Shot by a motorist from a mobile phone camera, the footage shows the policeman trying to stop a car while sitting on its bonnet.
Police confirmed that the incident took place near Nipa Chowrangi when a constable Naveed Ali signaled a car to pull up over an alleged violation of law.
Instead of stopping the car, the driver pushed the accelerator and hit Ali, the police said.
Police further said the constable landed on the bonnet of moving vehicle after being hit by the car.
Despite seeing the constable on the bonnet, the motorist pushed the accelerator in order to scare away the policeman.
Police said the car driver pulled off the car only after realising that he was not going to escape the police.
The traffic police has imposed a Rs1000 challan on the the car driver for reckless driving.
