Nishter Colony encounter: Initial charge sheet presented

LAHORE: The initial charge sheet of the alleged police encounter in Nishtar Colony has been presented, Geo News reported.

In the alleged encounter, the police had killed a young man named Shahzad. According to court sources, the initial charge sheet holds the DSP and accused policemen involved in the alleged encounter responsible for the death of Shahzad.

The initial charge sheet states that Shahzad was killed by the police in a fake encounter. It is pertinent to mention here that DSP Riyasat Bajwa and Sub-inspector Riaz along with the accused policemen are already under arrest
