Chunian man lures friend's wife to home, rapes and films her: police

CHUNIAN: A man was arrested Monday for luring a friend's wife to his home, where he allegedly raped her and filmed the traumatic ordeal for blackmailing purpose, police confirmed.
According to a spokesperson for Chunian police, the suspect — identified as Nazakat — lured his friend's wife to his home in Kot Umarwatto and allegedly sexually assaulted her.
The alleged predator also made a video of the rape and threatened to make the video viral online if she did not stay silent about the matter, according to the first information report (FIR) registered with the police.
On the other hand, the report of a medical test confirmed that the survivor was indeed raped.
The district police officer (DPO) for Kasur, Zahid Nawaz Marwat, said in this regard that violence against the oppressed would not be tolerated and that all requirements of justice would be met.
