15 accused arrested; wine, hashish recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police on Friday arrested 15 accused including five women for their alleged involvement in drug peddling, possessing illegal weapons, theft, involvement in immoral activities.

They also recovered 20 bottles of wine, 1.050 kilogram hashish, 600 gram opium and 60 cans of beer, a police spokesman said.

According to details, CIA police Islamabad nabbed five accused during a raid at a house in Sector F-8/1 and also recovered 60 cans of beer and 20 bottles of wine from their possession.

Aabpara Police arrested a drug pusher Kashif and recovered 1.05 kilogram hashish from him.

Sabzi Mandi Police nabbed Khalid Mehmud for having 600 gram opium while ASI Sher Muhammad from Nilore police apprehended two alleged thieves Shah Nawaz and Shah Muhammad and also recovered looted items from them.

Bhara Kahu Police recovered 30 bore pistol from an accused Babar Kazmi. (APP)
