KARACHI: Phenomenal women shine at the prestigious inaugural of Pond’s Miracle Journey.

The miracle woman is one who triumphs her personal and professional life, despite the challenges and struggles she delivers her part with utmost zeal and grace and brings equilibrium to her personality meeting all her daily roles efficiently. Over the years, we have seen women how have made an impact in our society and have gathered respect and admiration, recently Ponds celebrated 100 women who have been outstanding in the fields and have managed to raise their families as well.

These women have made their mark in their professions and their radiance has gleamed over many other. Last year in March 2014, Ponds chose a team of 10 Miracle Mentors who then choose 10 high achieving women each. The Mentors were Anila Weldon, Atiqa Odho, Chef Shai, Maheen Kardar Ali, Rukaiya Adamjee, Saeeda Mandviwalla, Samina Peerzada, Shamaeel Ansari, Dr. Tasneem Nakhoda and Vaneeza Ahmed.

Raheel Pasha, Director Marketing Personal Care Unilever Pakistan says, “The Pond’s Miracle Journey is our small effort in celebrating these miraculous women who strike this beautiful balance effortlessly and make their families and their country proud of who they are and what they have achieved. Our aim is to continue to find such inspiring stories in our society and bring them to the forefront so that we can all realize and celebrate the inner strength and beauty that is symbolic of the Pond’s woman.”

Women have always been a strong post of any progressive society, no matter how sensitive or fragile she may seem she still finds her soft strength to produce a masterpiece time and again be it in the form of a strong child, a happy family or a multi-million business. Yet she remains modest, humble and self-sacrificing – a miracle in her own.

The grand evening held at the illuminated Mohatta Palace adorned with 100 women and their inspiring stories, exhibiting their charm and charisma seemed as if the palace was embracing its new queens. These women filled the air at the palace with their stories of inspiration leading the path for other females to follow their aspirations and determine their own destiny.

Performances by Zoe Viccaji and Humera Channa were a complete awe for the audience. Imran Aslam and Zeba Bakhtiar shared the impactful journey of Pakistani women over the last 67 years.
