45 arrested employees of Sindh Local Govt Department suspended

KARACHI: As many as 45 employees of the Local Government Department who were picked up by law enforcement agencies have been suspended by the authorities, sources said on Friday.

The sources said 15 of the suspended employees also include officers of grade 17 and 18 whose salaries have also been stopped.

They said the employees are facing allegations of extortion, target killing and other crimes.
