Multan woman in hospital after self-immolation attempt over fight with husband

MULTAN: A woman was admitted to the hospital after she allegedly attempted self-immolation over a fight with her husband, rescue sources said Tuesday.
Rescue sources said the 30-year-old woman doused herself in petrol then set herself ablaze over a domestic dispute with her husband but that they reached the scene in Madina Colony and shifted her to Multan's Nishtar Hospital.
Rescue 1122 teams found her in a severely wounded state when they arrived.
On the other hand, police said they have initiated an investigation into the matter.
