Deceased woman's video reveals husband used pipes, kitchen utensils to beat her

LAHORE: A man in the city's Harbanspura neighbourhood beat his wife with pipes, sticks, and kitchen utensils, according to a video of the deceased that emerged posthumously late Wednesday.

The woman had died a few days ago due to the injuries she received at the hands of her husband.

According to police, the woman died four days back when her husband, identified as Kamran, assaulted her in their home. She said he used pipes and sticks to beat her and threw kitchen utensils at her as well but no one came to her rescue despite her cries for help.

Police said they have registered a first information report (FIR) of murder against the suspect, Kamran, at the Harbanspura police station.
