Tribunal reserves judgment on NA-125
LAHORE: An election tribunal in Lahore reserved on Monday the verdict in a case pertaining to alleged rigging in Lahore’s NA-125 constituency during the 2013 General Election.

Khawaja Saad Rafique of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was declared victorious from the National Assembly constituency in the May 2013 polls.

Rival candidate from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Hamid Khan, had challenged the result and filed a petition for verification of vote records from National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra).

Lawyers for both Khan and Rafique completed their arguments after resumption of hearing today.

Sources told Geo News that the tribunal's decision spans over 100 pages and is expected to be issued in the first week of May.
