Rajanpur man slits transgender person's throat for refusing to dance

RAJANPUR: A man slit the throat of a transgender person on Wednesday allegedly for refusing to dance here in the city's Kot Mithan town, authorities said, adding that a first information report (FIR) of the incident has been registered.

According to the authorities, the transgender individual was attacked with a knife when they declined a request to dance at an event. They were subsequently shifted to the district headquarters hospital in a critical condition.

However, the attacker fled the crime scene and police were carrying out raids to search for and arrest him as of reporting time.
