Kandhkot man shoots two, including wife, to death as karo-kari

KANDHKOT: A man shot and killed two people, including his wife, as karo-kari — or honour-killing — before fleeing the crime scene, local police said Tuesday.

The man opened fire on his wife and a young man here in the Khair Shah area over suspicion related to the so-called 'honour'. Police arrived at the scene after they were alerted of the double homicide, recovered the bodies, and shifted them to Civil Hospital, Kandhkot for necessary procedures.

Police said they have initiated an investigation into the matter.
