ISLAMABAD: The Airport Security Force (ASF) on Wednesday foiled a smuggling bid at Islamabad International Airport (IIAP), sources informed Geo News, adding that at least three people were arrested.

The sources explained that a woman carrying 0.85 kilos worth of crystal methamphetamine, more popularly known by its street name, ice, as well as heroin, was arrested alongside her father and son. They were travelling to Saudi Arabia.

The woman, identified as Rubina Bibi, was travelling to the Kingdom in a private airline but was stopped at the joint searching counter. The contraband was recovered from her purse.
