Demi Lovato parts ways with Austin Wilson days before Christmas

Demi Lovato recently announced her split with model boyfriend Austin Wilson 

The couple revealed their decision to call it quits, before Christmas rolls around. Demi only recently revealed the status of her relationship to a fan on social media. 

The couple have also reportedly deleted all pictures of each other, from their respective social media accounts. The news came on suddenly, only  weeks after the couple was spotted sharing an intimate hug.

Replying to a fan, the 27-year-old revealed that the two had broken up and also sent out a request towards her fans to "not go after" him.

According to a report by Just Jared, she stated, “Please don’t go after him. He’s a good guy. Much better than what people see on the outside just because he’s got a lot of tattoos. Breakups are hard for both parties involved. Just stay nice and say prayers.” 

She also went onto say, “Breakups are hard for both parties involved. Just stay nice and say prayers.”

During a conversation with PEOPLE, a source revealed that the star is busy  "concentrating on herself and her work right now, as well as focusing on her relationship with God. She’s excited for what this next chapter in 2020 will bring."
