Sasta Bazaar not yet started

RAWALPINDI: The Model Sasta Bazaar set up at Liaquat Bagh has not been started so far despite completion of the construction work.

The Bazaar was to be inauguarted by the Punjab Chief Minister on July 15. The Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) has completed renovation works of all the roads leading to the Bazaar.

District Coordination Officer Saqib Zafar told APP that the Bazaar was established at the cost of Rs 2.7 million with the covered area of 20 kanals. Staff has also been recruited to run this Bazaar, he added.

Meanwhile, the TMA has finalized arrangements for more Sasta Bazaar in the city to facilitate the consumers during the holy month of Ramazan.
