Target killing in Karachi spreading atmosphere of fear, says Khan
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan said on Wednesday that there is an atmosphere of fear being spread in Karachi due to target killing.

Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Khan went on to say that investors are leaving the city due to this fear.

He further said that whichever party target killers belong to, they should be apprehended at once.

Regarding the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) win in NA-246 by-election, he said that the party has the largest vote bank in the city therefore it is right that they have won.

He however added that PTI’s candidate for NA-246, Imran Ismail, was harassed.

The PTI chief went on to say that he himself has been facing trouble with protests and blockades outside his residence but he doesn’t complain and neither does he use force or security.

He said that he has been listening to complaints by both the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government as well as demonstrators, adding that he is playing the role of judge.

Regarding the evidence submitted by PTI to the judicial commission, he said that the party has submitted around 1 lac 26 thousand pieces of evidence so far, which is proof of rigging.

He added during the next hearing, PTI will submit proof of rigging in 70 constituencies.

He further said that he whole heartedly believes that the JC will give such a decision eventually that will point towards elections this year.
