Security arrangements reviewed for Ramazan
LAHORE: Inspector General of Police Punjab Javed Iqbal has directed all senior police officers to ensure foolproof security arrangements for maintenance of law & order especially in mosques during Travehee.

He was presiding over a meeting of Regional Police Officers held here on Tuesday to review the law and order situation, especially the security arrangements during the holy month of Ramazan across the Punjab.

The IGP further directed that the officials should personally carry out the checking of personnel deployed for special duty. He also directed that the police force should be kept high alert so that quick response of police could be ensured for dealing with any untoward incident.

Additional Inspector General of Police CTD and Special Branch Punjab, the Commandant, Punjab Constabulary, all RPOs in the Punjab and other senior police officers also attended the meeting. (APP)
