Pakistani singer Shabnam Majeed files for 'khula'

LAHORE: Renowned Pakistani playback singer Shabnam Majeed has filed for khula (divorce) from her husband Wajid Ali reportedly. 

According to sources, Shabnam filed for khula (woman’s right to divorce) in the family court of Lahore.

“I am upset over the fact that my husband is in contact with his ex-wife. Their pictures together have also gone viral," she said. 

The classical singer went on to add, "I mentally drained and it is difficult for me to live with my husband anymore." 

It may be noted here Shabnam and Wajid share four children together.
