National Assembly session underway

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly session is underway at the moment with Deputy Speaker Fasial Karim Kundi in the chair, Geo News reported.

According to Babar Awan, the government will not present any resolutions in Parliament and will only discuss an already established agenda.

Prior to the session, Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani held a meeting of government allies.

The meeting was held at the Parliament House and was attended by PPP and representatives of the coalition government. According to sources, the Prime Minister took coalition partners into confidence over the agenda of the session.
