QESCO abducted chief engineer reaches home

QUETTA: The chief engineer of Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) who had been abducted one and a half month ago reached his home on Thursday night.

"Unknown armed men had kidnapped QESCO chief engineer Abdul Rauf Baloch when he left his home in Satellite Town for office," police sources said. His family sources confirmed his reaching home, however, they denied to give any further detail in this regard.It may be stated that Hydro Union and employees of QESCO took out rallies and staged demonstrations to protest against the abduction of the chief engineer.

They had warned that they would disconnect electricity supply to entire Balochistan particularly government premises if immediate steps were not taken to get Abdul Rauf Baloch released.
