Cases to be lodged against holders of illegal weapons: Rehman

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister, Rehman Malik said that situation in Karachi had improved and cases of terrorism would be registered against illegal weapon holders, Geo News reported.

Speaking to the media at the Parliament House Islamabad, Rehman Malik said that the deadline for getting weapons license computerized had been extended by one month and that the city will gradually be cleansed of illegal weapons.

He further said that the Government was following the rulings of the Supreme Court. In reply to a question Malik said that Nabeel Gabol should provide him with a list of illegal weapon holders so he can take action against them.
