It is reported that Rawal Dam has a capacity to store 1,752 ft of water but due to rain the level increased to 1,747.5 ft.
The Dam Management declared emergency and the spillways were opened to discharge excess water.
The overnight rain filled the low lying areas with water. (PPI)
