Youth take lead in I-Day fiesta
ISLAMABAD: Youth across the country Sunday actively participated in the colorful celebrations of 65th Independence Day, reviving the spirit of patriotism and unity.

Youth are considered to be ambassadors of the nation and the mainstay of Pakistan Movement. According to Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah they have the potential to change destiny of a nation.

Students irrespective of age started making preparations for the big day since the beginning of the month.

This day provides an opportunity to make students aware about the unprecedented struggle and contribution of freedom fighters and all the unsung heroes as well as the history and the creation of our country", an educationist, told APP on Sunday.

Although, youngsters take active part in the celebration of Independence Day but they lack awareness about the sacrifices rendered by their forefathers in freedom fight, he added.

Therefore, he said, "We must give their vision more clarity encouraging them to play a pivotal role in taking the country to the top". (APP)
