PESCO issue revised load management plan

PESHAWAR, Aug 19 (APP): Due to soaring temperatures Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has revised load management schedule for urban and rural areas.

According to the revised schedule 7 to 8 hours load shedding would be carried out in urban while 8 to 9 hours in rural areas.

In order to cope with energy crises in the province, PESCO has held an appeal to the consumers to cooperate with the company and to save the system from overloading.

All commercial plazas and shops have been directed to close down at 08:00 pm sharp and industries and commercial centers have been asked to decrease their use of electricity by 25 percent.
