Two trussed up bodies recovered in Orangi Town

KARACHI: Two trussed up bodies in gunny bags were recovered from the MPR Colony in Orangi Town here this morning, Geo News reported.

Geo News representative Zil-e-Haider reported that the trussed up bodies in gunny bags of the two youths appeared severely tortured, gunned down and then thrown in the Orangi Town’s MPR Colony. It is apprehended that the two youths were perhaps among those generally believed to have been kidnapped by the gangsters in the city

After four consecutive days of unabated bloodshed in the city, an ominous thaw prevailed overnight, which had given rise to some hopes to the citizens that soon dashed with the recovery of the bodies of these unfortunate youths this morning besides reports of four persons killed in different incidents.

Police said that Samiullah, 28 was killed and two persons were injured by unknown persons’ firing near Safari Park, while one trussed up body in bag was recovered in Pak Colony area.

Yesterday, some armed persons in Gulshan-e-Hadeed had opened fire on a car killing Water Board’s Superintending Engineer, Khalid Siddiqui.

District Malir SSP, Rao Anwar on enquiry told Geo News that the incident seemed to be the result of target killing.
