HYDERABAD: Senior Member Board of Revenue and Sindh Relief Commissioner Shazar Shamon visited the relief camps in Badin's Shadi Large, Khoski, Pangrio and Golarchi areas on Saturday.
Shamon directed the Revenue Department officers to provide all requisite facilities to the rain affected people in the relief camps.
He asked them to ensure provision of ration at all the relief camps and also to provide financial assistance where necessary.
Shamon said the Sindh Government had already released Rs 70 million to the rain affected districts of Sindh.
He said he had handed over another cheque of Rs 30 million to the district government of Badin.
Secretary Revenue Umar Farooq Billo, who accompanied Shamon, said that following the directives of Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, the Revenue Department was providing adequate quantity of relief goods and ration to the affected people.
