'Geo tou Aisay', a first-of-its-kind show that will air its first episode on TV screens across Pakistan at 7:15pm today on Geo News, aims to showcase the power of ideas, human brilliance, and innovation in a bid to drive Pakistan's youth towards excellence.
The show will feature short talks from a mix of celebrities and young students, activists and leaders — all modern-day Pakistani 'heroes' who have achieved excellence in their respective fields.
The show's guests will be asked to recount, in front of a live audience, their stories of success, their failures and life-changing moments, and how they were inspired to give up everything for their dreams and aspirations.
'Geo tou Aisay' will be hosted by Dr Umar Saif, who is himself an accomplished computer scientist and academician.
Dr Saif said that the main aim of the show is to throw some light on the heroes of Pakistan and give them a voice so that they can share "the stories that are changing Pakistan".
With more than 60% of Pakistan's population comprising the youth, 'Geo tou Aisay' will empower young minds with information and inspiration in the hope that they can drive young Pakistani adults to achieve their very best and tell stories of their own someday, he shared.
What to expect from the show?
The team behind 'Geo tou Aisay' has shared that the talk show will steer clear of questions about fame and politics.
