PLA Punjab calls for filling of 560 vacant posts of librarians

LAHORE: Pakistan Librarians Association Punjab, Chapter Wednesday demanded of the Chief Minister Punjab to order for filling of all 560 vacant posts of Librarians in the province.

President PLA Punjab Chaudhary Muhammad Hanif while chairing the executive council meeting expressed concern for not filling the vacant posts which had not only been properly sanctioned by the competent authority but also approved by Chief Minister for advertisement through Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) along with other subjects.

VP, Dr. Muhammad Ramzan informed the meeting that PLA recently apprised the CM of the large number of librarians posts lying vacant in different colleges and higher secondary schools across the province which he added are not being filled. (APP)
