ISLAMABAD: The Judicial Commission met under the chairmanship of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry, Geo News reported.
During the meeting, the commission recommended that six additional judges of the Sindh High Court (SHC) be made permanent.
The judges include, Justice Ghulam Sarwar, Justice Ahmed Ali, Justice Irfan Saadat, Justice Aqeel Abbasi and Justice Muneeb Akhtar.
The tenure of these judges was expiring in September. The recommendations of the Judicial Commission will now be sent to the Parliamentary Committee.
