Police clueless even on 2nd day of Shahbaz abduction

LAHORE: Two domestic servants taken into custody after the abduction of Shahbaz Taseer, the son of the slain Punjab Governor Salman Taseer, have been released by the police without making any headway in retrieval of the abducted, Geo News reported.

Police had taken into custody both the domestic servants—Khayyam and Nasir for interrogation.

However, the police still remain clueless and groping in the darkness as its joint investigation team has thus far failed to make any headway in unearthing this high profile abduction of Shahbaz Taseer.

Shahbaz Taseer was abducted on August 26, when he was on his way to the office from his residence.

Police have also claimed that the abducted Shahbaz has not been taken out of Lahore city.
