QUETTA: Gunmen opened fire on a train near the town of Mach in southwestern Baluchistan province, killing at least three passengers and wounding 18.
No one claimed responsibility for the attack but police have blamed such attacks on ethnic Baluch militants fighting for more autonomy and control over the natural resources of the strategic region on the border with Iran and Afghanistan.
