PESHAWAR: Chief of Awami National Party (ANP) Asfandyar Wali described as grave the allegations leveled by PPP's senior leader Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza and called for full investigations into the same, Geo News reported.
Talking to media men at an Iftar dinner here, Asfandyar Wali advised the leadership of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to satisfy the Pakhtoons that they did not want to eliminate them.
He said he had no idea as to whose line Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza was taking but added that investigation must be carried out into the allegations leveled by the latter.
Asfhandyar Wali said the Supreme Court should requisition all the files that Dr. Mirza presented before the media. "I have full confidence in the Supreme Court," he added.
He said he was closely monitoring the developments unfolding in connection with Karachi situation and if the Pakhtoons were targeted for no reason then he would stand against the same.
