Senior lawyer AK Dogar passes away in Lahore

LAHORE: Senior lawyer and legal expert Abdullah K Dogar breathed his last on Sunday after suffering from a prolonged illness. 

Lawyers' organisations and bodies from all parts of the country paid rich tributes to Dogar, hailing his services as a senior lawyer. The deceased was acknowledged as a lawyer who always fought to promote democracy and rule of law.  

Family sources told Geo News that owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dogar's funeral prayers will be held in a limited capacity. 

AK Dogar was known for his legal acumen and his expertise on constitutional matters.
