Meeting reviews law, order situation

KARACHI: Interior Minister Rehman Malik directed the law enforcement agencies to further streamline action against criminals with coordinated efforts.

He was presiding over a meeting here on Wednesday to review law and order situation in Karachi at Chief Minister's House.

The meeting was also attended by Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wassan, IGP Sindh Wajid Durrani, Deputy DG Rangers Sindh, Brig. Zafar Iqbal and Additional Chief Secretary Home, Wasim Ahmed.

The officials particularly took stock of the situation pertaining to target killings and cases of extortion, and it was determined that the action will continue without any discrimination against all those who involved.
