FAISALABAD: The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) has extended the last date for admission in undergraduate degree programmes 2011-12 due to late declaration of intermediate results by the educational boards of the Punjab.
According to a spokesman of the UAF, application forms for admission would now be received up to September 23 while entry test for admission in BSc Agri Engineering/Food Engineering will be held at 10:00 a.m. on September 25, 2011.
First merit lists would be displayed on notice boards of the university on September 27 while second merit lists would be issued on October 01 followed by third merit lists on October 06.
He said that sports trials would be held from September 27 to 29 and admission formalities would be completed up to October 15 while regular classes would commence from October 17.
The NTS test of 2nd batch for admission to Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) programme will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. on September 22 in the respective faculty.
The spokesman said that the candidates, who appeared in the NTS test on August 26, were not eligible to reappear in this test.
The successful candidates are required to submit proper application forms available in the UAF prospectus along with test result up to September 26 in the office of the dean concerned, he added. (APP)
