Karachi: dozens held in Moach Goth search operation

KARACHI: Rangers carried out search operation in Moach Goth area of the metropolis, apprehending dozens of suspects and recovered weapons from their possession.

Rangers have been carrying out search operation in various areas of the city for several days. On Friday morning Rangers launch search operation in Barohi Mohalla, Sheikh Mohalla areas of Moach Goth and Suparco road.

According to the Rangers sources, the operation was launched against drugs dealers, criminals and gang warriors in which dozens of suspects have been detained. The areas surrounding Northern Bypass were also sealed off during the search.

200 Rangers personnel in 40 vans took part in the operation. Ladies searchers and informers also took part during the operation.

Rangers official said that the briefing would be given to media about the recovered weapons.
