MINGORA: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Amir Muqam on Tuesday asked the leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and the Awami National Party (ANP) to stop politics on bodies of innocent people in Karachi.

Addressing party workers in Jawar area of Buner district in Malakand region, he said the so-called champions of the Pakhtuns' rights only earned a bad name for the Pakhtuns and proved to be the cause of their destruction. He accused the ANP leaders of massive corruption in the province and termed them the ones who followed Mohandas Gandhi, the non-violent Indian freedom fighter and leader of the Indian National Congress and were against the creation of Pakistan.

Without naming ANP chief Asfandyar Wali Khan, Amir Muqam said the leader who fled the country after one blast had no right to talk of rights of the Pakhtuns.

He said the ANP, MQM and the PPP were responsible for the present crisis in Karachi and killing of innocent citizens as they supported terrorists. He asked the Supreme Court and the military to take stern action against the armed wings of the three political parties in Karachi.

On the occasion, a large number of ANP workers in the Salarzai tehsil of the district announced to join the PML-Q.
